Although not completely necessary in all cases, and although many businesses omit this step completely, it might be a good idea to consult a trademark regulations knowledgeable attorney. You might want to have your logo protected, and you also might want to check that your logo is not similar to someone else's - which might constitute a copyright violation. It is recommended to register your logo at the USPTO. What are the most frequently used graphical formats in logo design? What is the usual price structure for logo design work? Most good logo designers charge a flat fee. If your logo design creator asks for any additional extras, be very aware if they are justified. No good designer will ask for any payment over what was agreed before the work on your logo started. How do I find a good logo design service company?
